Client Need
The existing roof access ladders onsite were found to be outdated and non-compliant to the current standard AS1657, 2018 The client required a full system upgrade to ensure safe, compliant vertical movement from roof to roof.
Work Undertaken
Hallweld Safety installed a new integrated height-safety system, including:
- 25 new purlin-mounted anchor points AS1891.4 & AS5532
- 6 new compliant ladder systems AS1657
- 25 metres of roof walkway for safe, slip-resistant movement AS1657
- A clean, organised layout improving user safety and ease of navigation for the end user.
This upgrade ensures full compliance for roof access, fall protection, and ongoing maintenance activities.
